    This Grade 7 worksheet helps students understand and apply modal verbs and conditional structures correctly.     If I had known (1) about the meeting earlier, I would have attended it. My friend Jane would not have missed (2) the event if she had been (3) told about it. She would not have been (4) able to attend anyway because she had an important appointment, but she would have tried (5) to reschedule it. I would have told (6) her sooner if I had had (7) more information.

    If you had been (8) there, you would have had (9) a great time, but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible for you to attend. If you had known (10) it was going to be this fun, you would have come (11) for sure. I think you would have enjoyed (12) it a lot.
