✅ Answer Key (For Parents & Educators)

Exercise 1 – The Spilled Juice (Sample Answer)
I was carrying a glass of juice carefully to the table when it suddenly slipped from my hand. The glass tilted, and the juice splashed all over the floor with a loud sound. I quickly stepped back and stared at the mess, not knowing what to do. My cheeks grew warm, and I looked down at my feet. Everyone turned and looked at me, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I gave a small, nervous smile and stood still. My aunt quickly brought a cloth and gently helped me clean the floor. I quietly wiped the juice and avoided looking at anyone.

Exercise 2 – The Lost Puppy (Sample Answer)
My little puppy suddenly ran out of the gate and disappeared down the street. I called its name loudly and ran after it with my brother. My heart was beating fast, and I kept looking around worriedly. We checked near the park, behind cars, and even near the shops. After some time, we spotted the puppy sitting near the milk shop. I ran towards it quickly and picked it up in my arms. I let out a deep breath and smiled softly. I hugged the puppy tightly and felt calm again.

Exercise 3 – The Tangled Kite (Sample Answer)
I was flying my new kite happily on the terrace when suddenly the string got stuck in a tall tree. I pulled the string again and again, but it would not move. I frowned and tugged harder, hoping it would come free. My hands tightened around the string, and I stamped my foot on the ground. I kept trying, but the kite stayed stuck. Just then, my uncle came and saw me struggling. He gently helped untangle the string and brought the kite down safely. I smiled and held the kite carefully this time.

Exercise 4 – The High Wall (Sample Answer)
I stood in front of the high wall in the playground and looked up at the top. I placed my foot on a small edge and tried to climb, but I slipped down. My hands got dusty, but I wiped them and tried again. I took a deep breath, tightened my grip, and said, “I will try one more time.” I slowly climbed higher, holding on tightly. Even though I slipped once more, I did not stop. I pushed myself up with all my strength. Finally, I reached the top and smiled proudly.

Exercise 5 – The Sky Full of Lanterns (Sample Answer)
My family and I went to a night fair filled with lights and music. Suddenly, many glowing lanterns began to rise into the dark sky. I looked up, and my eyes grew wide as I watched them float higher. The lanterns shone like tiny stars above us. I stood still, watching quietly without saying a word. The soft glow of the lights made everything look magical. I held my breath and kept staring at the sky. I did not want the moment to end.
